Even more control over your orders
Its not ideal to keep a customer waiting for their goods and most online businesses will ship out an order as soon as it comes in even if some of the items are not available immediately to be shipped out. However, keeping tracking of order items that you've shipped out isn't really possible in Woocommerce. That is until you add our Partial Orders plugin!
Don't keep your customers waiting
Send out the items that you have in stock and let our Partial Orders plugin track of which items were already sent out to the customer including how many were sent and when and which are yet to be sent out.
Keep your order up to date
Each item in the order has its own status which will determine the status of the order as a whole. The plugin will automatically keep the status of the items and the order in sync make management a little easier.
Keep your customers fully informed
For every shipment that you send out automatically send out an email to the customer letting them know that their items are on they way. The plugin will keep track of previous emails so you'll only be sending out emails with up to date shipment information.
Keep track of all of your orders
Take the hassle out of managing your orders and let the plugin track what items you ship out and when, leaving you to take care of the things that really matter!
What can our Partial Orders plugin do
Total control over your orders
Manage each item in the order individually by adding shipments for that item so you'll always have a record of how many we're sent and when.
Keep track of each item
Each items history will be stored so that you always have all the information you need with a single click.
Manage items in bulk
Sending multiple items or completing the order? Add shipments for multiple items at once to make administrator a little easier.
New order status
We've added a new Partially Completed order status so that you can tell at a glance which orders have been partially fulfilled.
Automatically set the order status
The status of the order is based on the status of the items in the order. The plugin will automatically set the status of the order as you modify the order items, keeping the order status up to date.
Keep customers informed
Send out a new Partial Order Email to your customers letting them know that some of their items are on the way wih information on which items have been shipped and how many.
Add tracking information
When sending out the Partial Order Email, add tracking information to that shipment so the customer can track their delivery.
Fully customise the email
Just like all other Woocommerce emails, fully customise the Partial Order Email to match your store and to add any other extra information you may want.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You've got questions, we've got the answers!
Can the plugin take payment only when the items are shipped?
Not at the moment. That is outside the scope of what this plugin was initially intended for. The plugin was designed to help you manage your orders better in the backend and does not interfere in any of the purchasing functionality provided by Woocommerce. However, we may look to adding such a feature in the future.
When is the partial order email sent to the customer?
Sending the email is a manual process and will require you to actually click a button in the order to send it. Once clicked, the email will be sent out immediately.
Does this plugin work with Wordpress Multisite?
Yes it does.
Can the partial order email be sent out automatically?
We decided against this because it would be very inconsistent. Although we could schedule the plugin to check if any emails need to out whenever we wanted, the actual sending of the email would depend completely on Wordpress. With the way Wordpress handles cron, the chance that your customer would get the email very late was too high, so we decided not to automate it and preferred a manual process.
Will this work with X plugin?
This really does depend on the plugin and what your looking for. If you just want to use 2 plugins together, then there shouldn't be any issues. However if your after functionality of one plugin to be available within another plugin, then unless we've actually added compatibility into the code specifically for that plugin then chances are it will not work as your expecting. Don't worry, if your not sure, just get in touch and we'll be able to help you out.
