Multi Currency Store

Everything you need to get up and running with our Multi Currency Store plugin!

How product prices are converted

With multi currency enabled, the plugin will automatically covert prices in your store on the fly.  Due to the exchange rate potentially changing very often, the plugin does not covert and save the prices at all.

All product prices will be converted and formatted whenever they are to be shown, whether that is on a category page or in a widget. If the product is on sale, both regular and sale prices will converted.

Before converting the price, the plugin will check to see if the product being output has a custom price entered for the currency (See setting the price for a currency) being shown and will output this price if it does.  Otherwise, it will convert the base price for this product using the exchange rate that is currently saved for the currency being shown.

With the price to be output determined, the plugin will then apply the price formatting rules (rounding, price format etc) specified for this currency before outputting the price.
