Purchase Limits

Everything you need to get up and running with our Purchase Limits plugin!

Cart page messages

When viewing the cart, the plugin will give the user a list of any errors that are currently present for the product, category and cart limits that you have set.

Each error for each limit type can be customised in the same way that the Add to cart messages can be customised.

Outputting the error messages

The error messages that you would set for each limit type (see sections below) will be shown as a list on the cart page, but the list itself will not be output automatically and is controlled by the Error message display setting.

The Error message display setting gives you the option of adding whatever text/content you want with the error list. An [error_list] placeholder is used to output the list of errors.
