SEO Toolkit

Everything you need to get up and running with our SEO Toolkit plugin!

New layered navigation widget

The plugin adds a new Layered Navigation widget that is used as the base for all filter functionality and makes features such as the filters in the breadcrumbs, pretty URLs (see below) and the page title and meta description template engine possible.

Using the new layered navigation widget

The layered navigation widget can be added to your site in exactly the same way as any other Wordpress/Woocommerce widget.

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets
  2. In the list of Available Widgets, find the Woocommerce SEO Layered Nav widget.
  3. Drag the widget into the widget location (e.g. sidebar) that you want.
  4. Configure the widget as you want (see Configuring the Widget below)
  5. Click save

Configuring the widget

The settings for the widget are explained below:

Title - The title of the widget. This will be displayed at the top of the widget on the front end. Leave this blank to not output a title.

Attribute - The attribute to output in this widget. The Widget will output all the terms in this attribute.

Display Type - How to display the terms in this attribute. You can show the terms as a list or in a drop down.

Query Type - How to filter the products using an AND query or an OR query.

With the AND query, if a user selects two attributes, only products which match both attributes will be returned.

With the OR query, if a user selects two attributes, products which match either attribute will be returned.
